In 2014, Velda faced a turning moment. After 12 years with a large cleaning company, she was laid off and sought a new path. Driven by her passion for cleaning and a desire to build something of her own, Velda took a leap of faith and founded Rise & Shine. Her mission was simple: to make homes cleaner and healthier, one at a time. It wasn’t easy starting from scratch, but Velda had her family by her side—her husband and four boys, pitching in and spreading the word.
